In the autumn of 2023, Andrew Gilbert traveled to Hangzhou, China, as representative of Leek Phone™ to explore potential business deals, establish new trade routes, seek territory for founding Emperor Andrew Instant Coffee plantations, and participate in the BY ART MATTERS artist residency program.

We are happy to present Andrew Gilbert at Art Cologne this year, November 7–10, 2024. Find us in the collaboration sector of the fair, booth A 218, together with Livie, Zurich, presenting Sarah Bogner.

Both artists are known for their inventive way of drawing animals. Like in fables, the featured anthropomorphized creatures suggest a fictionality and lightness at first sight but after closer inspection, they serve as revealers of human society.
