Mit ONE NIGHT ONLY präsentiert Sperling für einen Abend Werke aller Galeriekünstler*innen, die bislang nicht in München zu sehen waren, sondern in verschiedenen Ausstellungen und Kontexten im In- und Ausland. Die Präsentation ist bewusst nicht als klassische Galerieshow angelegt, sondern als verdichtete Zusammenstellung, die die Vielfalt der künstlerischen Positionen und Werkserien innerhalb des Galerieprogramms sichtbar macht.

Der Titel verweist auf die zeitliche Begrenzung der Präsentation ebenso wie auf die Bedeutung der unmittelbaren Begegnung mit dem Kunstwerk, die sich jenseits digitaler Reproduktionsformen entfaltet.

ONE NIGHT ONLY: Donnerstag, 12. Februar, ab 18 Uhr in den Galerien Sperling, BRITTA RETTBERG und JO VAN DE LOO.

With ONE NIGHT ONLY, Sperling presents, for one evening, works by its gallery artists that have not previously been shown in Munich but were exhibited in different exhibitions and contexts around the world. The presentation is deliberately conceived not as a traditional exhibition, but as a condensed constellation that makes visible the diversity of artistic positions and bodies of work within the gallery’s program. The title refers both to the temporal limitation of the presentation and to the significance of direct encounter with the artwork, which unfolds beyond digital modes of reproduction.
